Romania and Feedback - Cultivated Management Newsletter
Hi,
Welcome to this week's newsletter.
There was no newsletter last week as I was in Romania at the Romanian Testing Conference. I was program chair, which was an epic experience! I love that conference. Although it is a software testing conference, it was very much about building good teams, passion at work and delivering epic software. Great event and I thoroughly enjoyed chairing my very first conference!
I want to keep this newsletter short this week and to ask you a huge favour. I'd like to know what you want more of and whether or not you'd like to be part of a small online virtual community around management.
I am thinking about starting a very small online community, say 20 - 30 people max, where we share insights, ideas and thoughts about management with each other. I will also be available to answer questions specifically directed at me, but fundamentally it is about bringing together a small group to help each other grow and learn. I want to keep it small so it becomes helpful and we forge a strong relationship. The goal is to be helpful, not to be a big community.
At first I would like it to be very much text based, but eventually we may start doing video chats and meetups.
I would also like to know what you want to read about here on this blog. I have 500+ posts in draft and clearly don't have time in my life to publish all of them. I want to make sure I work on the topics that are most relevant to you all.
So please could you take the time to let me know what bothers you and what you would like to know more about, as well as what platform this online community should be on :)
It is very much appreciated and will help to guide the future direction of this blog.
The survey is here.
Thanks for being loyal readers and very much looking forward to adding more value where I can.
Thanks
Rob
